S. W. Y. Inkoom

Mr. Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom is the Managing Partner of Asemaku Consult. He has over 40 years audit and advisory experience and is responsible for overseeing all audit engagements, tax, consultancy and special assignments.

Work experience
Mr. Inkoom began his accountancy career with Messrs Ayew Agyeman & Co., a leading Ghanaian Firm of Chartered Accountants before joining the erstwhile Bank for Housing and Construction (BHC) initially as Internal Auditor and for various periods, as the Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Accountant, Director of Finance & Administration and eventually as Executive Director in charge of Finance &Administration with supervisory responsibility for Accounting, Treasury, Research and Corporate Planning, Administration (Human Resources) and General Services departments. After leaving BHC Mr. Inkoom worked as a private consultant and was the executive secretary of Ghana Association of Consultants in Accra. He also worked as Group Chief Accountant and Deputy Managing Director of Super care Group Limited, Accra and Ayiem Oil Mills Limited, Mpohor respectively. In January 2006 he joined Morrison & Associates Chartered Accountants as the Audit Partner. Mr. Inkoom was an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and was a member of the Institute’s Council from 1986–1991 and served as Chairman of its Education and Training Committee.

Assignments:
Among the many high-profile jobs executed by Mr. Inkoom are; Audits of Akuapem Rural Bank, Prudential Bank, PBL Properties Ltd, Prudential Securities, Metro Mass Transit Ltd, Ghana Energy Development & Access Project (GEDAP), African Development Bank (AfDB) funded Projects, World Bank funded projects, Ghana Nuts Ltd, Financial Intelligence Centre, Ghana, Water Resource Commission, Mediwise International Company Ltd. Catholic Action for Street Children (CAS)-Misereor sponsored project.

Education
He is a graduate from the University of Ghana’s School of Administration (now University of Ghana Business School) and a Chartered Accountant. He graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, in June 1973 and obtained a B.Sc. (Admin) degree with 2nd Class (Upper Division) Honours, majoring in accounting.

Adu Boansi

Mr. Adu Boansi is the audit and special assignments manager. He has extensive audit /advisory and general accountancy experience for well over 30 years. He has expertise in leading engagements including accounting, audits, transaction services, due diligence for both public institutions and SMEs. He also has specific experience in forensic audit, value analysis and enhancements.

Work Experience:
Mr. Boansi has significant local and international experience and worked overseas for several years, including Southern Africa and the UK. Among the many institutions he worked for are Local Government (Ghana), Jo-mint & Associates Ltd (Ghana), Morrison & Associates Chartered Accountants (Ghana), EY Chartered Accountants (Lesotho), Freeway Motors (Lesotho), Gobodo Incorporated Chartered Accountants (South Africa), Accounts Centre Ltd (UK). He also lectured in financial reporting, audit, tax and management accounting in Colleges in UK. Assignments: Some of his assignments include audits of African Development Bank (AfDB) funded projects, World Bank funded projects, Akuapem Rural Bank, AU Construction, Water Resources Commission, and Financial Intelligence Centre, Ghana, Fairfax Media (UK), DANIDA funded project (UK). Mr. Adu Boansi was member of Gobodo Incorporated Chartered Accountants’ forensic accounting team that successfully investigated the national Commercial Bank of Lesotho.

Education
Mr. Adu Boansi is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) and a fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) UK. He attended Kumasi Polytechnic (now Kumasi Technical University) and the Institute of Professional Studies (now University of Professional Studies), Accra. Mr. Boansi holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from University of London and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from University of East London.
